Here's the story, Morning Glory

When I was younger and cooler, I always thought when I got older I would be the young, cool mom. Now that I am older and a mom, I still see myself as still younger and pretty dang cool, but then I thought, "Mavis, you need to give back." So I contacted my friend Dove and we got together and thought cool thoughts.

Dove is supercali-cool (but don't talk to her about any kind of modern television, she has never heard of "Bromance" or "The Hills" or any related show so I don't know if that makes her super-duper cool or a little less cool. What do you think?).

In any case, we decided to begin our quest for sharing the ultimate of cool with this coolio blog. People love cool blogs. Dove told me that this is related to the Law of Attraction - you know, putting positive thoughts and vibes out there to attract the things you wish, or something like that. So here it is, us giving back, thanks for joining us. We are only going to write about the coolest of things, like music, ESP (emotional, spiritual, physical), freaking awesome guest bloggers that know what they are talking about, everyday life as a cool, yet normal person, cool recipes and whatever else tickles our fancy. In short, by reading this blog and getting your friends to read this blog, your coolness factor will increase exponentially.

Oh and, to draw on that whole law of attraction theory, we envision in the very nearest of futures the We Chirp Summit, where we meet with all the cool friends (you) we have made from our cool blog and discuss the coolest of things and wear the coolest of clothes and drink the coolest of drinks (Diet Coke). Ah, I can hear/see/feel it now. I am putting it out there for the universe. I'm living the Law of Attraction. So cool.

Dove, you are totally missing out on the MTV reality phenomenon of The Hills and The City...but I can do without Bromance! Do you at least watch The Bachelor?! Love it!

I’m in; I’m the coolest person on my street. Fine, that’s a pretty easy feat, but I could probably challenge my block and still come out the victor. I love what you’ve done so far, darling, and I’ll be back daily to check my cool-o-meter and make sure I’m staying below 32*.

Lovely concept. Even lovelier theory. Consider me “attracted” to the utterly cool vibe I caught today. The stars have aligned…

I’m digging your blog and your quest to achieve coolness to the highest degree. If cool were people, you’d be China.
