Summer Lovin'

It boggles my mind that it is T minus 5 weeks until school begins for my oldest. Half of me says "Hallelujah!" and the other half thinks I have let it slip by. But frankly, I am running out of ideas to keep my kids happy - and I refuse to give into that all powerful Wii.

So tonight I went to my fave place, you guessed it. You thought it was only crafty goodness? Oh no, My Kangaroo has these fantastic learning games - so good the kids won't even know that they are learning. The shop keeper and creator is a speech language pathologist, have provided games like charades and a scavenger hunt and "These cards also target children who have difficulty articulating /r/, /s/ and /l/ speech sounds. Each line targets a specific speech sound." Super cool. And the rest of her shop is super kid awesome.
