An announcement, a confession and more etsy

All rolled into one, I am such a multi-tasker.  The holidays OVERWHELM me.  Setting them up, making lists, checking twice, making sure everyone is accounted for - family, friends, neighborhood, kids' friends, and whoever else pops up - stresses me out!  I literally melt down in December.  A friend called today and told me happily that she had gotten the perfect gift for me, the type you walk by and think, "That is so Mavis, done."  Yippee for me (truly) but some serious stress.  I truly never get that feeling.  Every gift I give is gifted with dread that they won't like it, won't use it or will re-gift it sooner than later.  This same friend, I still haven't given her a birthday present (months ago) because I have no idea what do give her.  Last year I gave her a pouch from drikaB  and I am quite certain she has never used it!!!

On top of that (and here is the announcement) we are expecting our 4th child! (I realize most of you knew, but thought a coming out was due)  Although my heart is full, my brain is mush and my patience and logical reserve is, well, MIA.  So the anxiety of Christmas is heightened.  Yes, yes, I know this is not the true spirit of the holiday but I know very few who will deny the major presence of pressure to do it all, pick the perfect gifts and present the perfect holiday.

Ah, now that those things are off my ever enlarging chest (ouch) I can once again share some lovelies from etsy.  More girly gifts.

I am trying to knit my own wash clothes right now but slow and steady is driving me nuts.  I love these candy colored wash clothes from black gingham.  Pair them with some great soap from below and you have a useful and yum gift.

I love a soap bar and I love peppermint and I LOVE anything that exfoliates, so this soap is a no-brainer for me.  And from what I've seen Anderson Soap Company is one of the best in the etsy biz.

I have found that I would much rather do dishes if I don't have to get all soggy and such.  I love these cleaning gloves from Julie Meyer.  They are finished with pretty oilcloth so they stay clean and look great left out near the sink.  Pair them with Mrs. Meyer's cleaning products (which are in most grocery stores) and you are set.

I seem a little home oriented tonight.  So to go along with that I love this tea towel from oola.  So many great designs that add punch to any kitchen.

Since the bread I bake never passes muster this might be the next best thing.  And if the ratings are any indication, Love, Luca might make the yummiest candle yet.

Now I am going to sit upon the couch and do nothing for a bit.  Pregnancies bring out the lazy nights in me.  Are you liking what you are seeing in these ideas?  Have any suggestions for the perfect gift?  Let me know.
