This is experimental in nature. I'm leaving today on a road trip. 2 moms, 2 girls & 3 boys. The kids range in age from 8-15. The boys don't like the girls. The older kids are too cool for the younger kids. Should be interesting. I'm trying to decide what to do to keep peace & keep them all content/entertained. Is that possible?
Normally we post our top 5 things, but I'm asking for your input. Anything you suggest we bring (besides the obvious - movies, junk food, DS's, etc)? Can you come up with a top 5 for me?
And anyone know some cool/cultural things to do in San Diego? The last time I was there was 12 years ago and I found myself inadvertently on a nude beach...
Thanks.

Um, High School Musical 3 soundtrack?!
The San Diego Zoo is pretty sweet, I hear. And of course, the coolest temple of all, the one I wanted to get married in. But alas, I am from Washington, so that wasn't so much in the cards. I would have recommended going to see the musical Wicked, but it doesn't start playing there until the end of July. As for the car, I think you pretty much have it covered with the movies, music, junk food, DS's and such. I am a big reader and so whenever my family and I made the 10 hour drive to Utah, I always had a few novels along with me to devour. You might want to consider picking up a few tranquilizers though, just in case you need to keep your sanity. :)
I think the zoo is supposed to be great. I have no advice on the road trip part though - do report back and let us know how it goes! Have fun!
thanks for your ideas (except you leslie - i'd like to enjoy the time in the car also) ;)
i forgot to mention that i am dropping my kids off somewhere along the way, so my free time in san diego will be GROWN UP TIME!! any other suggestions? otherwise i'd be all over the zoo.
