Today was Eli's first day of 2nd grade. I'm not sure I like this getting older thing. For me or him. It was fun to see him at school with all his friends, but made me feel like I wasted the summer because he is once again spending more time around others than with me. It was great to see you this weekend. It was fun to chit chat with you and the girls. What goes on in that head of Lily's? Is it all sugar plums and sweetness? And then to run into you quickly today walking kids to their places on the playground, I liked that shirt on you - pretty color.
I have but one request. The next time we hang out, I'm taking your Crackberry and hiding it! Give your poor thumbs a rest and just chill with me (us). Give peace a chance.Hope you have a good week and the girls love their new teachers,
