I am thinking I will get Mr. Man in my life a lift ticket so we can go get our shred on together at the mountain. Romantic? Mmm, no. But will he like it? Boy howdy! Actually, I think quality time together qualifies as romantic.
I know a man who swears that if ever you don't know what to give a dude, a utility knife (or any tool for that matter) will do the trick. I don't get it. I will never comprehend why tools are fun to receive, but since there is very little testosterone flowing through my body, I'll take his word for it on this one. How handy that this knife has a jump drive on it. Now that's modern day utilitarianism. More details here.
And here's a clever idea if you opt for the knife option. Attach a note to it that reads
"Iron sharpeneth iron; so a man sharpeneth the countenance of his friend. Proverbs 27:17"

I know who you are speaking of and the gift has never failed him yet. Guys dig em! He has given out dozens of them and now that they come with a jump drive he will be giving everyone a new one.
